About Great Kanku-Breakaways Marathon

Held in May, every year, the Great Kanku-Breakaways Marathon is a multi-length Marathon – including full-length and half-length, juniors’ distance and cycling options.

Hosted and held in the spectacular Kanku-Breakaways Conservation Park, Coober Pedy, this a unique marathon opportunity that is not to be missed.

2.5km Mini Bolt - Kids under 12 free! 5km Dash - $20.00 - Juniors under 16 free! 10km - $20.00; Juniors under 16 - $5.00. 21.1km Half Marathon - $40.00; Juniors under 16 - $20.00. 42.2km Full Marathon - $60.00 - Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
