About Moss Piglet – Port Pirie

A microscopic journey for littles aged 5-10 (and tardigrade fans of any age).

Tardigrades… perhaps you’ve heard of them? Known affectionately as ‘Water Bears’ or ‘Moss Piglets’, these teeny-tiny creatures have captivated scientists and enthusiasts alike, surviving multiple extinction events and thriving in some of the most extreme conditions imaginable.

From jelly-filled petri dishes to the depths of a volcano to Arctic glaciers and even the moon, Windmill explodes the mysteries of the wildly weird tardigrade.

Featuring wicked puppetry, choreography and live video, it’s set to be an epic ride of microscopic proportions.
