Flinders Ranges and Outback hosts a range of unforgettable events, from the Coober Pedy gem show to the Carrieton Rodeo and Birdsville Races. Our events are truly different to the norm, and everyone will be able to find an exciting event to bring a little extra colour to their trip.

Follow the 500 Miles of Music through the region to enjoy fantastic atmosphere and music in unbeatable locations, or take the Birdsville Track north to experience the world-famous Big Red Bash.

For an enchanting evening of music in the Flinders Ranges, Arkaroola Under the Stars with the Stars promises an astonishingly beautiful setting by the waterholes of the Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary.

The South Australian arts scene shines throughout the region, from local craft to Nationally-acclaimed Australian Art galleries. Enjoy the Laura Fair, the Hawker Craft Mart and Quilting Exhibition, the Blinman Photo Exhibition and a Brush With Art, held at various locations throughout the Flinders Ranges.

Young and young-at-aheart alike will have a blast at our good old fashioned Agricultural shows, like the Jamestown Show, the Wilmington Show and the Quorn Agricultural Show.

Some events may have adapted their format or schedule as required, but open spaces are kind of our thing, so we continue to safely hold events across the region whenever possible.
