The Coober Pedy Experience Motel – Mined for Opal from 1918 into the 1960s, it was then transformed into an underground motel in 1990.
Relax and enjoy a restful sleep in an underground room with a private ensuite, these underground rooms can accommodate a single person or up to a family of 8.
Each room has a queen bed with additional single beds, Wi-Fi and television, equipped with a small kitchenette with a bar fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and all of your basic needs.
