About Town Carriage Museum

By entering the 1916 first class sleeping car which was used on the first train across the Nullarbor from Part Augusta to Kalgoorlie, you will be transported back to the old era of Steam. The town carriage is located in Main Street and once inside you will discover a very exciting interpretive timeline museum of Peterborough SA . There are 18 objects displayed which were important items in the town’s history.While in the carriage also experience a digital steam train rail trip while sitting in one of the compartments.
