Innamincka Regional Reserve
Innamincka Regional Reserve has connections with famous explorers, diverse wildlife, internationally significant wetlands, rich Aboriginal culture and European history. It also features stunning contrasts between its creeks and waterholes, and the surrounding vast, red desert. Must-see sites include Cullyamurra Waterhole, the graves of the ill-fated explorers Burke and Wills, and just across the Queensland border, the historic Dig Tree site.
