Malkumba – Coongie Lakes National Park
Coongie Lakes National Park is one of the most spectacular of South Australia’s natural attractions. The park is a pristine water world made up of channels, waterholes, lakes, internal deltas, shallow flood plains, interdune corridors, and swamps. This arid wetland plays host to a diversity of wildlife, including native birds, fish, reptiles and frogs. When floodwaters arrive, it transforms into a breeding ground for an enormous number of migratory birds from around the world.
