Coonatto Station is a family-owned and operated 14,000-acre property in the Flinders Ranges, about 300 km north of Adelaide.
Coonatto Station has been in the Lock family since 1912. It is currently managed by John, his wife Erica and their three children.
Coonatto Station is a sheep and cattle grazing property, and they offer accommodation in their shearers’ quarters. The shearers’ quarters can accommodate up to 10 people; it consists of a dining and lounge room, a fully-equipped kitchen and a bathroom with two showers and a toilet. There is also a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with four single beds, a bedroom with two single beds, a bunk-bed, a double bed down the bottom and a single bed on top.
They also offer camping at one of their five secluded campsites.
Coonatto Station is an ideal spot for camping, bushwalking, picnics, and 2WD tracks. Whether you’re seeking relaxation or to enjoy the peaceful surroundings, beautiful scenery, and wildlife, this property has something for everyone.
