About Merna Mora Station

Merna Mora is a working sheep and cattle station located in the Wilpena Pound area of the Central Flinders Ranges. It is also a popular tourist destination offering a variety of farm stay and self-contained accommodation options, as well as powered sites and bush camping in a secluded creek setting. The accommodation includes 9 cabins and 10 bunkhouse-type accommodations (Torrens Rooms), and the facilities can host coach groups of up to 45 people. Additionally, there is a fully equipped communal kitchen available for all guests to use.

Merna Mora Tourism is an essential part of the cattle and sheep station enterprise, providing a genuine and authentic experience for those who wish to escape and witness the outback lifestyle and atmosphere. The resident hosts, who have been hosting visitors to the area commercially since 1968, offer a personalized touch and enhance the knowledge of the general Flinders area. It provides a comfortable and central base for interest groups, families, and individuals to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Flinders area.
