About Port Pirie Heritage Trail

The Port Pirie Heritage Trail is a self-guided journey through the city’s rich maritime, industrial and cultural heritage, featuring more than 30 significant sites including grand hotels, churches, memorials, historic civic buildings and the iconic Port Pirie Smelter.
Explore at your own pace by foot or car as you uncover the people, events and architecture that have helped define Port Pirie from its early settlement to the present day.
