Michie (pronounced Mi-Chi-E) comes from Osaka Japan where her family runs a popular (kisaten) restaurant.
She makes authentic Japanese and Japanese fusion cuisine which has received rave Google reviews.
One reviewer wrote “Fantastic authentic Japanese food for a very good price. We really enjoyed our lunch here. The food was delicious! It is a real hidden gem in Quorn. The owner and her family were very lovely. Very popular place as well!”
Michie produces takeaway meals, however, seating is available under the shop and adjoining house verandahs. Two other nearby establishments, the Scruffy Fella (coffee and men’s accessories), and Flinders Gin welcome customers who bring takeaways from Michie’s Kitchen.
