Mungerannie

The Mungerannie Pub is located in the middle of the Mungerannie cattle station and serves excellent food and cold beer. Mungerannie also has fuel and amenities, and is the third official camp spot along the route.

For the birdwatchers, about 140 species of waterbirds and rangeland birds seeking to escape the heat of the surrounding Gibber Plains drop by in summer. Keep an eye out for graceful Brolgas, which are regular visitors.
