Roxby Downs and Olympic Dam

Visit the Roxbylink Complex, home to the visitor information centre, cinema, library, art gallery, Dunes Café, gym and pools and splashpad. It's also the trail head for the 3km emu walking trail.

Join the Roxby Discovery Tour, a seasonal tour offered between April and October designed to give visitors an insight into the workings of Roxby Downs, Olympic Dam and Arid Recovery. Take the opportunity to get up close to rare and endangered native species in a naturally wild, arid-zone environment.

Explore the Arid Recovery Reserve with a tag-along sunset tour. Enjoy a guided tour through some of the unique habitats of Australia’s arid zone. Travel through the dunes on a spotlight walk for the chance to spot nocturnal wildlife.

In spring, look out for the bright red Sturt’s Desert Pea – South Australia’s floral emblem.
